All of our Graphic Designers, Coders and Management have years of experience in their field and some are at the top of their field in New Zealand.

Manager

Mark has been in Customer Service, Marketing, Sales and Management all his life.

His strength is understanding what a client needs and interpreting that into tasks for his team.

We provide Fixed price contracts on a Fixed timeline.

 

Coding & Design Team

Our Coding & Design team of 14 allow us to manage projects both large and small cost effectively.

Each project has a dedicated team member(s) assigned to it and in most cases will continue with any future work for that same client.

 

Document Management Team

1 Group provides a full Document Management, Data Capture and Indexing service through its Partner Company Datacapture Ltd.

We are Value Added Reseller's for two of the World's largest suppliers of ECM and Data Capture systems, Hyland Onbase and Datacap (an IBM Company).

We have been trained in New York on-site and provide automated solutions for all sized business.

 

Backup

This is a new division of 1 Group that provides both On-site and Remote backup systems from basic document files through to whole networks.

This division will be running under the 'File' name as www.file.co.nz as of December 2010.

 

Support

We provide phone support Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm and email support the same hours.

Support will be extending to 24 hours 6 days in 2011 to meet our International clients requirements.

History

1 Group

1993
1 Group's roots began in Auckland in 1993 with the founding Manager Mark Taitimu working in Direct Sales.
After 1 1/2 years of sales experience training people and managing marketing campaigns throughout the North Island he relocated to Christchurch and developed a strong team of 36 people in 8 weeks.

1995
The company was incorporated in 1995 'JDI Advertising Ltd'.

1996-1998
Expanding offices to Dunedin in 1996 and Hamilton 1997 then Auckland in 1998 resulted in a team of 100+ people nationwide.

1999
In 1999 JDI Advertising Ltd changed it's direction and diversified.

2000
In 2000 JDI Web Design opened it's doors to a relatively new industry to us.

We added Graphic Design to our Services under the name of JDI Group which lead to projects for Coca Cola in Christchurch and then supplying Design and Print for their outsourced project's nationwide..

2003
We renamed and rebranded to 1 Group in 2003 which represented the umbrella entity of all of our services.

The key to our growth and extremely competitive rates is our structure. We have some of the best people in their respective industries contracted giving our customers the best quality and value for their dollar.

We provide services to clients throughout NZ, Australia, UK as well as UAE.
With our international team we now provide 16 hour working days for our clients providing a more efficient turn-around at no extra cost to our clients.
In fact with further automation of our systems our prices will go down.


2011
We anticipate by the start of 2011 we will be providing services 24 hours 6 days of the week again at no extra cost to our clients.

Where to now?

Well where can't we go and what can't we do is more of the question. Our team and skill set grows each year and hope to be seen as 'the' place to go for all requirements.
